My Korean adventure started in 1989 with my first trip to Seoul. I spent 450+ days in Korea from Jan. 1989 through Nov. 1992. I was amazed at being in Korea. Having grown up in Podunkville, Okla., what was I doing in a foreign country? Consider the lists of first for me on that first trip:
What was I doing in this strange land at age 24? Well, after my first 7 week trip, I decided that I needed to learn as much about the Korean people as I could to survive the ordeal. What I found truly surprised me! The Korean people are some of the most interesting people in the world. Please read on as I describe some of my adventures in Korea.
