This is
a view of the front gate of the Kyongbuk Palace from inside. The Japanese built the
domed building directly in front of the beautiful palace in the early 1900's just to block
the Korean people's view of their palace. I took this picture to showcase the
juxtaposition of ancient, old and new in Seoul. Note the modern skyscraper in the
background.
